Help Us Elevate Andean Talent

Running in the Andes is more than a sport — it’s a way of life. Behind every step on these mountain trails is a story of dedication, resilience, and cultural pride. At Run the Andes, we’re proud to support local athletes like René and Diego, whose strength and spirit represent the heart of Andean running.

We believe in empowering athletes not only through words but through opportunity. Whenever possible, we support our runners by involving them in our guided runs and experiences — providing income, exposure, and a platform to share their knowledge and love for the mountains.

René has also begun offering personalized coaching, helping other runners achieve their goals while continuing to train and compete at an elite level.

Your support helps us continue building this sustainable pathway for local talent — ensuring these incredible athletes can pursue their dreams while inspiring others along the way.

Why Your Support Matters

Access to quality training, travel, and race opportunities is limited in the highlands of Peru. By supporting our athletes, you help them:

  • Train and compete in national and international events

  • Access coaching, nutrition, and equipment

  • Earn an income through guiding and mentoring

  • Inspire a new generation of Andean runners

Your contribution — whether through sponsorship, donation, or simply sharing their story — helps give these athletes the recognition and resources they deserve.

Meet the Athletes You Can Support
