Altitude Training Camps – Train and Discover the Andes

Train with some of South America’s top champions and elite runners in the breathtaking Andes. Join their training group and benefit from world-class coaching under renowned coach Omar Molina, creating an unforgettable high-altitude training experience. Sessions include high-intensity speed work, double-turn track workouts, and gentle Zone 2 runs in the mountains or countryside — giving you the full life of an elite athlete.

Individuals, running clubs, and college teams are all welcome. While all levels can participate, we recommend a minimum stay of two weeks to allow your body to adapt during the first, gentler week at altitude.

Accommodation can be arranged in local homestays for a truly immersive experience, and for a unique cultural touch you can also add Spanish classes during the day, combining training, language, and life in the Andes.

Spanish Lessons

Take your experience in Cusco to the next level by joining Mundo Antigua Spanish School. Choose between 2- or 4-hour daily classes, Monday to Friday, tailored to your level — whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced speaker. Immerse yourself in the language, improve your Spanish skills, and enhance your stay in Cusco while complementing your training and cultural experience. You can also choose between group or private classes to suit your learning style and pace.

Homestays

For an authentic Cusco experience, stay with your very own Cusqueñan “mother” in a local guest family. This is the perfect way to practice your Spanish and gain a real insight into Peruvian culture and everyday life. The host families we work with are middle-class, welcoming, and provide a safe and comfortable environment.

In our homestays, you’ll have your own private bedroom, while sharing the rest of the house with the family. Most hosts speak little or no English, so you’ll be naturally encouraged to practice your Spanish! Typically, you’ll enjoy three homemade meals a day, but you also have the freedom to explore Cusco and eat out whenever you like. This is a fully immersive, home-away-from-home experience filled with warmth, culture, and delicious food.

Prices
